True....but I was refering to me paying for it...that comes down to how expensive a Duke headlight is tho.....why you think i'm only "part time" since then???

Yep, these guys sound like really arrogant w**kers.

I remember on quite a few times when we arrived at the same pub as welly riders, sitting down and talking to them. Once, a few were even putting on a wee display outside the pub.

Sheesh, whoever spread that rumour needs to get over themselves. And some of the comments in here are friggen hilarious

Yep, all you bastards do sound highly arrogant. All that riding in groups, waiting for people, going down the pub afterwards, providing accomodation for fellow bikers. You insular, unfriendly arrogant sods. Might get my fat lazy arse down there one day and see how arrogant you all are for myself, one day...

And Deano - perhaps it's not the arrogance they're objecting to, perhaps it's just they don't want to be seen out riding with someone who's on such a gay Honda in gay Repsol colours. I mean ... please...

I've spent a grand total of 12 hours of my life in Wellington. 7 of those hours were spent sleeping. The remaining 5 hours were some of the most enjoyable I've had whilst not on a bike... and more enjoyable than some of those too! All I need is an excuse to head back up there, and I will. It was a little annoying to meet some cool people and then have to leave again so soon... without even being able to steal anyone's bike for a quick ride!

I'd like to point out, The "Gladdy pub show", was a properly marshelled, and safe environment, and no-one from Welly was doin anything at all stupid.

It's news to me as I don't recall ever trying to turn anyone away from TRTNR or other rides we have been on. We do tend to ride as a group but anyone is welcome to tag along, and people have done in the past, regardless of their abilites.

So who started this rumour ?

I have an idea......and you're full of shit pal !!

    Rant over.
Bro, anyone that is preforming like that is definitely a wanker. You know it, I know it, most know it. That simple really.

    Latest Arrogant Antics

Met up with a few arrogant w**kers again today despite the chilllli conditions and violent cross winds. Nice and clear tho'

Had a blast over to Wainui and down to the coast - first time for me on this road, so good fun. Very little traffic and some great corner action. Bit bumpy mind.

Clear but cold conditions saw me getting a little loose; locked up the back braking too hard and too late into one particular corner. No major dramas tho'.

Only other drama was freezing our proverbials in the wind at the coast when Flame's RSV refused to fire up. Must be those dodgy Italian electrics, eh?
Jimbo600 was on the case though, bringing along some jumper leads all the way back from a servo in Wainui. Meanwhile a friendly cager lent us a set and we got the bike humming - just as Jimbo arrived! Typical...

Sedate ride back and home in time for cocoa in front of the fire.

Highly recommend a ride out with the Wellington Crew Arrogant W**kers. (WCAW)
