No, I'm not one and I am not there biggest fan, however if nothing wrong has been done you will have no problem with them will you.

Its weird you know, I was comin home on me bike last night along Kahikatea Drv and see a big tail-back, sneak my way past to the front and here's a bike smashed into the back of a 4x4... at 1st glance I thought it was your FZR, there were loads of people out an about tending to the scene and looked all under control so I kept rolling, hope the poor fellah's all right
After a bit of thought, I grew up... Although after last night, it doesn't mean I'm immune from crashing...

doesn't sound to good either the one on kahikatea drive...i go down there all the time to visit my mum and it's always been the kinda wide flat straight road to encourage boy racers to let everyone know they're there

Blood samples taken? Tickets issued? Chin up mate... oh sorry, it already is.
I have been guilty of using something that I knew of as BOG to repair holed engine cases in the long distant past possibly the modern equivalent would be "Knead it"

Looks terrible, but seems to hold shit together till you can find the perfect fit.....wont work for pressurised cases but will fill a hole to avoid oil leaking everywhere in the short term, just make the inside of the repair as smooth as you can make it, and let it set for the appropriate time........ Then as quick as you can find the right part and replace!

As far as the chin up thang!.............dont be so mean

    Sorry.
Immediately took myself outside and gave myself a good hard flailing.
    Quite enjoyed it actually.
Barbed wire was a bit rusty, hope I don't get an infection. Then again maybe a nice nurse will prick me ....over and over and ...god that feels SO good........

Shame to hear about your accident.. Vitamin E oil on your chin should help it heal nicely without to much of an unsightly..

PM sent your way (you'll know why in a minute)

    Take it easy..

Yo Zeroindex, dizzam - you gotta start cutting out that fun stuff okay? Glad to hear you're up and about and not lying in a gurney with your arse shaved and pipes shoved up it!

Looks like your bike got off lightly - even though you can't remember what the hell happened!

Anyhow, get some Aloe Vera juice onto that and your baby good looks will be enhanced with manly scars!

And yeah, grab that new lid while you can!

Dude! Hope everything is better today. A bit of a mystery with events, by the sound of it.

Te Warewhare jacket Vs good quality Quasi jacket? Simple decision.
At least wear the leathers underneath for protection.

Started a security course the other day, and with work experience, I had to get a nice thick warm black jacket. It happens to be warmer than my leathers or cordura, and since it was 'just down the road' I thought... At least I'll be warm... yeah, I know it's the wrong attitude, and yes, I can feel it's the wrong attitude, although, amazingly though, looking at the scrapage I have, the Quasi jacket probably wouldn't of really made much of a difference...

Geez Rob, that's a bit of a worry. Have you found out ny more about what happened? Do you remember crashing, getting up and carrying on then balnk .... or has someone else told you you crashed. Love to know what was behind the cop's comment, sounds like a good legend.
