Can't really add too much to what's be said already; fine sunny skies, wet, dry and gritted roads, frost, good company, a bike that is just the bees knees. Great winters ride.

See my signature for the link to my photos for the day.

Am not, my maximum speed for the day was only 1xy... I do admit though I had a great fun today - even on the long straights.

Mr S got the seasons wrong, and most of the places we stopped were in the shade....It is winter, and the sun is our friend!!!!

Bloody gud though Big S for gettin' this ride on the road. En-joyed heaps.
Yeah, yeah, cheeky sod. Glad you had a good day.

Yip good ride folks good to catch up with ya all. Wished I had my knobbies on in a couple of places but it was good fun all the same, not sure about the ice skating though.
Sorry you lot had to freeze while I waited for you all in the sun, You might need to put a large sign out so I don't miss the turn off next time.
Good piccies all. I know it was a mainly Italian affair but but wheres the kat?

Have a closer look at photo 1 & 2, it's in both of them. Have you got your Italian blinkers on and can't see it
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!

Yeah that was a right bugger... The last time I was through there with you and Lemans, you guys had a radio intercom, so I assumed that you guys had that, or that this stop was prearranged... (assumption is the mother of all F&%^ ups... )

Maybe a ride to Kaikora sometime soon, for lunch, for us Chch folk, would be a good run, that wouldn't be to bad in winter???

And at one point I thought the stone had gone though my visor, or at least cracked it, what a noise it made.
