Thought I would mention how my weekend went as I'm sure you guys are dying to know....NOT

Flights were pretty good. A little rattley at time and the worst part was flying into here last night. The whole weekend consisted of me conplaining how cold it was down there hehehehe. it was good to catch up with family and friends...Well some of my family anyway. My sister decided not to speak to me the whole time I was down there. Not even a Happy Birthday from her. That kind of put me in a depressed mood for the day but i suppose you get that when we don't really get on. Its my older sister I'm talking about not my Twin. Fatty (twin sister) and I had a blast the whole weekend. It was sooo great to be able to spend time with her, Mum and Dad.

I broke the news to mum about my riding and she took it REALLY well She really appreciated me telling her to her face rather than on the phone but she realises that I'm really enjoying it and I'm old enough to make my own decision. Thinking Dad may have played a part... Good man I played Darts on Saturday night and came runner up Then the dart club proceeded to tell me that I should go home as I keep taking their medals hehehehe. My Mum and my twin sister are coming up when i get my furniture moved and would LOVE for you guys to meet them both so thinking about having a few drinks at my Aunties or even my house for you guys to come and say hello. They are wantin to meet you all too as I rave about you lot for some strange reason hehehe

So all in all it was a pretty good weekend, although I missed my saturdays out on the bike. Think that would have made the day feel alot better if I did manage to find someone that would have taken me out . Glad to be home though and I still feel like moving here was the best decision I made.

    Yep. Sums it up nicely.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Hey Warwick, we were down at Anza today.

Beautiful VRod there, the Street Rod model, only demo kms on it, reduced to about 28k, in blue, very nice. Big line up of VRods actually, plus lots of new Harleys.
Having a good look at them, looks like an entry level big Harley is about 27k for the Dyna.
They were trying to convert me to a Harley, and sell me one.

They had 2 Moto Morini bikes, kinda look like a Ducat Monster, a bit weird looking for my taste.

If we could get enough people together we could do it one Saturday instead of a ride.
    Just an idea.

Thanks for the report on da weekend.

Didn't any of them big city people offer you a ride? Hmmm.... no wonder you came up here.
You would have been cold if you stayed here for the weekend and came on the Saturday ride. Was a great ride and a lota fun but it was a bit nippy. Aye Zukin !! Still good company and a great fire at the Tarawera.

Pleased your Mum isn't going to kill me. See they all come around in the end. So we can come and meet the parents with out fear of death. looking forward to it. Remember there is a house here if they want it for the weekend.

Yeah, I made the mistake of taking a 06 V/Rod for a squirt when I was down there a few weeks ago...was really impressed with the grunt and the handling. Easy to lift the front too. Felt a bit small for me....would need to fit different seat and bars and extend forward controls another 30-40mm further forward...then you never know. Tell ya what Tony....check out Wellington Motorcycles site....click on Harley Davidson and scroll down until ya get to a 06 VRSCD Black NightRod Special. this bike is the shizz mate ..its got the 1230cc Screaming Eagle motor....special low seat and touring pillion (Tinas gunna love that) 4931 Ks for $26999. Mate if it had forward controls and a higher seat it would more than likely already be in my shed Best you P.M Crasherfromwayback and talk to him about a demo.....wouldn't hurt Cheers W
P.S...probably need to chisel the grin from ya face after that test ride buddy

I've learned... that to ignore the facts does not change the facts

Do you seriously expect me to believe that these politicians would implement policy based on nothing more than bullshit......

Yeah they look like they might be more suited to someone my height than yours.
I'm happy with what I've got mate.
Can't see myself on a cruiser and Tina loves the Triumph so we'll keep the status quo I think.
My last bike before I got the born again urge after 7 yrs, late last year was a cruiser VN1500, which tbh bored me senseless. I ended up parking it for ages before throwing in Whitakers for sale.
I only brought it so we both could go cruising!

Anyone free tommorrow or Weds arvo for a ride?
Got the week off and prob will hit the roads those days. Not sure what I'm up to later in the week, may go away for the weekend, but dunno yet.

Admirable idea mate. I owe my life to donated blood and after my accident had dozens and dozens of pints transfused into me.

    Alas count me out.
I have a medical issue that prevents me from donating, which was picked up some time ago.
    And NO, its not Aids!

Not related to your Avatar then Dooly?

    Conclusion on the blood thing.
Everyone should take care of it themselves in their own time. But make sure you do it people. If you can.
