    Hehe thanks, Just keep riding is how I see it There were no "oh shit" moments at all, an answered question as to what happend with the chain, which little did I know at the time it was an oil/engine problem.

    I took off the air filter, and pottered around. Took the broken parts to my mechanic, and he said its the con rod and piston which was broken. When I explained that theres a crack at the front of the engine, with a nicely styled bullet hole he suggested I need a new engine.

    So Mission now is to really strip it down, and get a new engine and drop it in.

    I guess the smoke was the impressive part?? As for being in the slow lane, well it happend while I was in the middle. But I managed to get to the side of the road safely.

    Sorry I left you behind going up the Kaimai's I was chasing a 900SL ducati. He got away but i was two up on the 750 duc.

    Yep that's me, I saw that Ducati up head then, you two were a blur.... I'm just stoked I made it there and back without something blowing up on the old girl
