Indeed. The pretty young thing at the Queen St Westpac couldn't even manage a wan smile when I announced I had come to pay my Road Fun Tax.
    Heard it all before...

Oh - I did get a nice smile, and cheery "Thank-you!"
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

points only go onto your "account" when the debt is settled, how ever in the good old days you could send the plod an extra 5$ which would obvioulsy require a refund (assuming that you dont cash the cheque) meaning you can dodge the points. but alas... i have tried, and they have tied this loop up a while ago.

its ok man... i look at it as "fun tax" too, i lost my licence last year.
yeah... sorry bro, i thought that ment miles 'n hour.

    Then I demand a refund!
I wasn't having fun at the time. I was passing a pharking 4WD I'd been following for about 15 minutes, and I was tired of getting buffeted around, I was cold, my knees hurt, and I wanted to get home.
Fun tax, my arse. (or is that "Fun? - tax my arse!")
Nowhere near as much fun as falling on my head bedding in my brake pads.
    ... and that's what I think.

Thanx, Hana. You are too kind, three kind even.
But I wished I had a sense of humour so I could laugh at stuff too.

I reckon that GoatTucker dude might be Wari in another guise; haven't heard from him today, and they seem to have very similar weirdness....

    I think you're both wrong.

Goatylover will be some one who is somewhat straight lace under their original persona. Maybe Zed. hehehe

Zed has been absent for a while. Maybe us heathen have finally got too much for him?

Zed with cloven hooves? Nah, I don't think so.
He'd be more likely to be a lamb.

I suspect Zed has the, er, 'integrity' to spare a motorcycling forum the regular contributions of someone without a, er, 'motorcycle'.

    Unlike some.
