Alright then, day and time to be arranged asap

Both the gixxers need a run, so they'll get their day out real soon - this weekend

I've just discovered the joys of ordering stuff direct myself.

I needed a 43 tooth rear sprocket for my grey import. (Could only get 45 tooth here, which I bought, and immediately dropped 40km off my tank range. The guy in the shop lied to me, dag nammit!! )

Via expensive Grey Import shop - 6-8 weeks from Japan.

Via UK ordered over the weeb, took FOUR working days to arrive!!

Was mightily impressed. Next time you need to order something, might be worth trying to source it yourself?

well I didn't get to ride a gixxer .. ..... went for a quick blat on the back of the trumpy .. then 86 said the magic words .. do you wanna ride her .. well fark me are you serious .. ok then

so without much time to feel nervous off I went am sure 86 thought I was only gonna go up the road & back on a quiet wee nana toodle ... well the first trip up the road was .. but then hmmm having to much fun to do one wee ride so off I sailed into the distance & then went past 86 again but sighs I am a good girl thought I better stop making him sweat & bring her back ..(pics are somewhere)

wot a blardy nice machine .. hmmm I thought I wanted a crusier when I finally get my full but .......... ok ok MT you might be right ..

thanks for that 86 after an absolute week that was the only thing to put a on the face for a wee while

I hear ya there Jan .. but nah when Betsy runs well she absolutely puts a huge grin on my face .. its called total fun most of the time she is pretty easy, & loves a good thrashing & no boys dunna say it ... riding someone elses bikes means that I dunna push those limits at all .. but the feel of the daytona very very noice

realistically will not upgrade til I get my full ... no point really & unless I get extremely short of cash I doubt I will sell her .. ultimately I would love to turn her into a restoration project back to original best .. she deserves it .. (am thinking I might get to learn some mechanical stuff )

always thought I might like a crusier .. the only thing the ride did yesterday was make me think that bike was pretty comfy (I have a farked back) but will need to ride it for a few hours to see if it starts hurting am sure I might be able to steal the keys one day to give it a go
