Just like martial arts experts, they never go on about it.

I've built machinery that's scarily fast; big F'n deal. There really are some jerk-offs out there (predominately, by the look of it, on sportsbikes) who give their ilk a bad name.

Oh well, that's KB I suppose; like life, there's always the fuckwit factor.

What do you mean "and go on about how fast/high/mighty their bikes are"? My bike isn't fast... it's slow... it used to be averagely fast, but that was too much for me, so I put on a giant rear sprocket in hopes that my bike would go slower... guess what? It worked I still don't know how to ride properly, but day by day I'm trying to get better

Honestly thinking about it though, I don't really mind cruisers that much... I mean, the extra leg room has gotta be an advantage on long trips... I was sitting behind a Harley something-or-another the other day... He kept looking in his mirrors probably wondering why I wasn't doing some stupid squid passing maneuver.

Sorry, how exactly am I arriving at the worst possible moment? Carver isn't around to stir things up since he's at work... I'm trying to be civil, and with time, I hope I will be...

Yeah, the 'zero' bit sums it up methinks. I could be wrong tho', I have been before. Got bad rep from the 'nothing' in the past for telling the truth.......

The question was "why did you buy a cruiser?"

Perhaps there should have been a footnote that read .... (..and if you don't have one, fuck off.)

    Otherwise; have a nice day.

Man.. I have no place to speak in a thread like this, because I'm well underskilled and underbiked to be a voice that holds any weight, but shit like this actually makes me a little depressed.

You can sugar coat it with 'light hearted banter' but you all know you damn well mean what you're saying to each other, and that shit just ain't right man. Who cares if you laz-e-boy it through the country, or one wheel it down the motorway, you're both on a fucking motorcycle and that should be the end of it. Yeah, cruiser vs sports will always be around, but not like this man..

I'm ashamed to have people like carver and zeroindex be the moral spokespersons for sports bikes in this thread, but I'm equally ashamed that cruiser posters are stooping to their level, can't we just let it go already?

Shit, my bike looks worse than most sports bikes and is slower than most cruisers, but who cares, I get the fun *I* want to get out of it, not *you*. Light hearted banter is fun to read, but this is just... argh :/

    Have a beer guys

I detach myself from this whole kneedragging sportsbikers... I'm tired of speed... I'm more for one wheel in a deserted carpark...

Even with that said, we can't just "let it go", and the people participating in these 'enthused comments' would probably agree that without it, there'd be nothing to talk about... the only reason I'm still posting in this thread is s3806 invited me, cause he wanted to laugh some more...

Like you said, I also enjoy having fun on my bike.

Ps. Cool video journal thing you're starting up
