Donor's and gijoe1313's most excellent spanking..er.. spannering night Friday 13th...

Well seeing as we are on a bit of a roll, I have decided to pre-empt Donor's thread and started this next one.

My place as usual (PM for details if needed) usually getting nothing done until 6ish (feel free to drop in earlier if needs be)

Refreshments will be provided, bring along any gear or stuff that you want to be done to your lovely rides (if you can trust our ham-fisted, tree-shade, bush mechanic skills)

Now... where did I put that whip and leather bondage gear...

    Oh do I *have* to?

Dang... not another night of carbonated beverages of the hops and/or ginger variety with variegated food products and other quite awesome stuff!

    I'm in!

Your enthusiasm combined with your loutish, but charming ways always brings tears to my face, pain or pleasure I have yet to decide (a fine line between the two)

I think (as Big Dave might say) the Quality Crumpet has me booked for then. Best not to ignore her, she can inflict far more damage than even I can (on myself) with a screwdriver.

I must say, having to work tonight, that a toothbrush is a marvellous method of getting oil and two-stroke carbon out from under your fingernails.

Only a spanner night? What if we need to use other vital tools (no not those ones)... Should the Towelronga crew converge on your generosity? Im sure we can always find things to fix on the prilly, or the 10, or the trail bike, then there's nobrods gixrs lying around too, oh the choices of bikes to work on (weather they require it or not)....

Spanner nights in our case means dismantling a whole bike down to nothing!

If by chance any one else brings other bikes to be fixed or bodged up to get riding again, the more the merrier! (Must remember to buy more of those benches!)

Feel free to bring in your lost, damned and demented bikes...just make sure they belong to you!

OK, then, I had a boyfriend once who told me he was going to clean my bike, two days later walked in with my bike FRAME on his shoulder.
We have DMNTD bikes, but I figure you would have to explain reducing them to many spare parts. By the way, hows that 'project' going that you picked up on the trailer the other day, you know, the one that I, the only girl on site had to back out of the driveway for you 'blokes'?

You mean the one which has been posted already as the spanner night just gone ... and the thread in general maintenance..... dizzam!

Yes, the project build is coming alive now - momentum is gaining...just need to keep working consistently on it and ordering in the needed parts so delays kept to a minimum... frame off to the sandblasting and will be powder-coated next...

Engine work is being done and reboring will be done after everything has been stripped out. Yes, Donor is still unable to live it down. Poor guy, only just got his man card back by doing mechanical work and making filthy off-coloured jokes as mechanics do!

Sorry dont get on KB much so not utd with the current threads, but glad to hear that Donor is still smarting over me backing the trailer for him, so he should, DMNTD was proud of me, "Thats my woman" I think was the phrase of the day. Looking foward to seeing the transformed bike of what was loaded on the trailer. PS, any blokes wanting trailer backing lessons, my fee is extremely unreasonable, oh, and I hire an audience....

The thing is with this build... words like Ohlin, K&N, Toggle Destruct Switch, Powder-coating, Steering Dampener, Quick switch connectors, Rocket launcher tube (for back banner),samurai riding gear and other gijoe1313 terminology will be incorporated ...

It will be a thing of beauty, mass destruction and general mayhem all round! Why? 'cause we can! That's why!

LOL Zeocen But can't blame a guy for trying, can ya?

I'd happily come along to one of these splendid small (in some cases adjustable) manual hand tool weilding nights if they were in a somewhat closer vicinity to my general locality... 'tis a pity of the most purposeful type that I don't have the ability to attend at this point in time!
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.
You musta been.... high. You musta been...
