Setting up a 2001 RSV1000R ????

Hey just wondering if anyone out there knows anything about setting up RSV's. I've just bout a 2001 RSV1000R with all the trick bits, but it handles like a dogs breakfast. I've ridden a standard 02/03 and it was brilliant. I'm assuming Ohlins is better than standard. Any thoughts would be great.

Yea Robert would be a good idea , but have spent close to 1 year setting up my RSVR as well as afew other mates ones here so if you need road/track settings lets know .
