    Benelli Tornado Tre... yum

On the way home and filtering between some traffic, when I heard a growling, rumbling sound behind me. So as soon as the bus lane cleared, I moved over a bit to see what was behind me.

    The aforementioned Benelli Tornado.

Now I know it is flawed as a motorcycle and the build quality wasn't the best and so on... but oh do they look and sound great.

I think I may have drooled, just a bit...

Rode with it for a fair way, but a a bus got in the way and I got stuck at lights so couldn't get to hear it really open up. Damn.

(No real point to this thread, just wanted to share the drool...)

They look great and I like the triple. Not unlike my Tiger in design.

I agree that they sound wonderful.

But man you have something in your eyes

They are one of pig ugliest bikes to come along since the Bimota DB3

The latest BIKE here has details of the super specials that were running on the Tre. They didn't sell whenever they came out so they were being offered at a real bargain price (less than a Street triple?).

Haven't got the mag with me, and wasn't in the market so the details are hazy...

Nice looking thing. Italian bike copying Suzuki. Nice irony.
Bit of Buell 1125CR about it too.

And more so - I'd hate to have one fall over...
Never mind - they look uglier in the flesh.(metal) and feel arkward.

Short and tall, with a huge trail bike gap between 1st and 2nd gear.I rode my friends one with a Fontana 4 leading shoe front brake a few times...an awkward bike to ride.

I still reckon the fully-faired green and silver Tornado is a thing of beauty

yeh i must say i prefer the fully faired tornado, that tank looks a wee bit scary though, would not want to slide forward on the seat too quick
