Thanks for the videos Eddie. Jees that JMJ is a boring rider. He's upright & no roosts or power slides, doesn't he remember he's using's a rental. For Aslan's generosity.

Just cause there's no video footage of it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Thanks to guys who came with me over the Matahiwi track, sorry about the short distance and to mark who traveled so far for it.
The true track is impassable even by horse, if any body saw a drive on the left just after the concrete water tank, the track starts there and goes about 10 k, however there are 2 drops about 20 M 2k in with no way around.
The other partwas as we aproached the summit there was a track off to the right that eventually peters out but origionaly conected to the red shed.
Thanks to Andy Mac and bmwrsnut for the ride home Imade my meeting 30 mins late, Ihave since disabled the auto email down load feature off my work phone so it wont happen again.
I wont be doing much riding as I have to get my sons racecar ready for the summer drags.
Cheers everyone for a great weekend.

    Pete.
Life shouldnt end at the grave well presented but rather, slide in sideways totally worn out yelling "shit that was a great ride!"

Yeah well, you should have seen what didn't make it on camera, the low side off the cow pat, the 15" roosts & throwing it down the hill on the Whanga road.

Geez I'd almost buy Paladin's DR over the state of this one now.

By the way, anyone want to buy a DR? honest Eddie's used bikes has one in the garage.

So what's the equation for the F800GS? Lots of Dollars minus R1150GS, minus DR650, plus ????, plus an undefined level of the good wife's tolerance levels. .

Actually, revise that: Lots of Dollars minus R1150GS, minus DR650, plus ????, MINUS the good wife. Nah - probably not a happening thing....

Better get that new car for her soon Stephen...

Bet in hindsight you wished you hadn't taken a ride...It just makes you lust after them. After all, you can't miss what you haven't tasted yet (mixing metaphors)

    Steve.
