so i was planning on coming tomorrow.. but went for a ride today, and filled up at westgate, and whiel quickly checked tire pressures, some prick stole my jacket and helmet... so i won't be riding... Im soooo angry! But thanks to rie and glen i wasn't stranded, and was still able to have a little ride (even though sat at the petrol station for over an hour stranded!

Hey Trace what size are you? I have a spare jacket here that you can have if it fits you. It's nothing fancy, but has armour in all the right places etc..

:slap: Geez Trace, trying to live up to the dizzy blonde stereotype? Ahh that sucks, blardy fecking lowlife scum The biker gods must have done it either to spite you or to save you from some incident!

Never mind ... always plenty of other rides to go on ... and at least you get to go shopping for new gears?

Sorry I scooted off before the ride "properly" ended, I hope badger returned the KTM in one piece haha.

Did you guys go back via clevedon -> alfriston? Holy shit balls it was cold on those long straights! Had mah heated grips on full blast.. I wished I had kept my jumper in my packrack, having just a tshirt on underneath did no favours! Haven't been that cold in quite some time.

indeed it returned in one piece, and 2 wheels on the ground. And JEEPERS it was cold alright!

Got hit by a beer can at 100 clicks on the ride from clevedon toward denny's for (non existent) waffles... full story here, with some grainy pics

gremlin has been luring hornet swarmers away from their gay little hondas, and onto the king of bikes. They all loved it too, and declared they wanted one (3 so far)

Badger tried out for beer receptacle and didn't like it, pursuit was given once the story was known, but too late

Dennys got a visit anyway, where sharry spent half an hour deciding what she would like. Menus for the next ride will need to be given to her early

Otherwise, a slightly longer ride than normal, with eating done before riding... rather unusual, but a longer ride, so worth it Then again, eating was done after the ride too, so can't complain

The usual kerfluffle and kibbitzing over where to go and talking about things related to biking. Seems everyone was for eating early and slurping noodles at Daikoku was first on the menu (hurhur )

Found out that some people don't know how to eat edamame beans and I was when I watched gremlin and zeocen eat the bean pods whole! :slap:

The silence when they realised what they were meant to do was priceless

Kaspa and Jcxss were in Beemer heaven as they waxed lyrical about their rides

Off we rode down St Heliers GP and I took the group for a Tiki tour ala gijoe1313 around East Auckland till we got to the Whitford/Maraetai part and parked up at Clevedon where gremlin let all and sundry ride his Katoom o'doom.

Badger8 has related his sordid tale of low life losers in cage

Mmmm feed at Dennys was good ... thats the problem with eating too early, you just get hungry om nom nom agains!
