87mph any faster would of resulted in time travel![]()

I ride a klr so am not familiar with speed, but my understanding of it is that it is something you can have too much of just prior to falling over, or is that beer???
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
On my FXR I once got my speedo to read 298. That was just before the cable fell out though....

DUCATI ALL THE WAY!!!
2007 Buell Lightning XB12Ss > 200Km's only done it once... never again unless on a race track for a track day.... lamp posts were zipping by way too fast...
He said, "I don't-a really know-a why I do eet-a. But-a eet feeels-a right-a, and-a seems-a to let-a me brake-a harder into thee corners-a." Helps with turn-in too.
Seems he started doing it in 2005 or 2006, and it became a habit, so it's part of his style and presumably if he changed it, it would throw his riding off for a while. You could argue that it makes an incrementally bigger shift of the centre of mass to the inside of the turn, and creates some drag (like an air brake). Since an incrementally small advantage here and there can add up over 26 or so laps, mebbe it helps him win. He's talking now about charging other riders who (presumably) have started copying him in order to not miss any potential advantage.
Oh... speed. The fastest I've officially gone (as verified by a gummint record, and a certificate in my filing cabinet) is 132 km/h. I was very lucky to have been stopped before I went any faster, killed hordes of people, crashed, died, exploded into flames, and died all over again. (I HATE it when that happens...)
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
you guys break the speed limit!??!![]()
