    What is the motorcycle version of this?

    really, its a rally car.
    heaps of grip.
    peaky engine
    quite fast

    so not a motard

    but a sports bike is not that great on gravel

    so what would it be?

    a Uber-adventure bike

    All things considered i didnt think looks would bother you mate combined with the fact that that ride could also quite happily tow a caravan.

    So are you thinking of a bike that's as fast on gravel as a rally car....or do you have some other aspect in mind?

    I don't think you'll find a bike capable of that - 2 wheels always loses (almost) to 4 wheels when the gloves are off.No way anything on 2 wheels could get near a WRC car.....but rear wheel drive rally car?....now we got a race on our hands.

    Bikes are in the top 10 at the Queenstown Race to the Sky - they are going faster than some seriously fast rally cars....and I reckon if they set their bikes up better they could go even faster.I think an XR750 in TT guise would be ideal.
