(lol) No doubt about it both of them can influence your thinking and behaviour!

Think of them as carburettors, they give better performance when well tuned and ballanced! sorry!

[off topic] No no no... they're just like bikes themselves. Small, loud, cost a shitload, and demand to go wherever you go. Not to mention they take a while to warm up, protection must be worn to prevent road rash, and they are damned hard to sell once broken. [/off topic]

    Waikato Riders, What Plans ????

Are any Waikato based riders planning to go up to Port Waikato via the gravel roads on the coast, or just taking a direct route via sealed roads.

Would be keen for a leisurely ( rear tyre almost bald ) gravel ride to the Port if anyone is going that way.
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time

OK, seeing as we "are" on topic let me warn you younger ones of the perils of our fascination with these two essential "life" items!

Bearing in mind that I am almost at the end of my natural life cycle, (three score years and ten) this is what it does to your mind!

The weather, circumstances and a bit of a sore leg, have kept me from riding my Tiger lately.

The other day I went out to the garage, turned on all the lights, drooled over, sat on, touched and talked to my bike for a while!

    It felt sooooo good.

I was so turned on I considered checking her over and going for a short ride! (Omarama, around Lake Aviemore or down to Kurow etc)

Then I thought, "no" save the petrol for the weekend and go for a "long" ride!

So I locked the shed door and went off to do some chores ordered by her indoors.

Next day her indoors (the other half of this equasion) went and unlocked the garage and "wahlah", I get an ear full!

All the bloody garage lights have been on half of yesterday and all night last night!

It's the women, they rot your mind, you start to forget things, I should have gone for the "short" ride, it would have been lots cheaper!

The moral of this story is:

A good bike will always await your every command without asking for anything in return. (apart from the occasional oil petrol tyres etc, little things.)

But even a "good" woman will cause you deterioration of your mind and never miss a chance to tell you about it and how much it cost!

Be warned choose your woman wisely whereas just about any old bike will do and it will love you whatever, without asking for anything in return!

    Has it stopped raining/snowing yet?
