I imagine I will get lost . Probably several times. If not I may see you there (the Autobahn that is) . Or not. Or somewhere else.It is in the hands of the High Gods. And fate, And stuff. I'm not very good at getting to specific places. Especially if they're the place I theoretically started out for. But I'll go lube my chain, just in case. Is massacring the glow worms still on the agenda?

I'll bring the bora bombs. Or do we need 2strokes to do it more efficently?

Cheers guys, nice pootle today. Thanks for waiting for me at the turnoffs

I don't think it's possible to have it actually fall off from shrinkage, but it must've been a close call on the way home. Straight motorways aren't much fun, but at least I can rest my left hand on the cylinder head to keep it warm.

It isn't a proper ride unless something falls off my bike. This time it was the left rear indicator -- wondered why the front one was blinking so fast -- when I got home I noticed the rear one dangling by just the wire. A little nut fell off. Either the single vibes from the motorway or those metal roads 3L4NS1R -- did you see when it fell off?

Just got out of the shower...

It was freezing on the way home! I spent a fricking long time in the shower and have just thawed out.
I am now in my room with the heat pump cranked up to 25C....
Having a beer and I will load some of the photos shortly.
Thanks for a good day guys, nice ride and shame about the locals...

Cafe was nice, I will have to go back there with the girlie!

Yeah, the ride home was a bit of a chore.I went down Richardson Rd with the others, but without a front guard my vision was obliterated - who woulda thought eh? They should have rules about such things. But it was no better on the seal,I just couldn't see through the visor and rode to SH22 practically blind.I've never used this helmet in the rain and it was real crap - but Clint rode from Rotorua in the rain with a KBC,so it can't really be a brand problem. But by SH22 it seemed to come right....maybe it was a temp balance thing, maybe the dirt road had put a something on....but it was sweet from the phone tower on.

It's the first time I've ridden the R65 in the rain,so was looking forward to it.Really impressed with the K70's in the wet,but I've always regarded them as the best wet road tyre ever,so confirmed.Hand, feet and bum wet and cold, but otherwise all good - I'm even wearing the same thermals as they didn't get too damp.

Pity we couldn't make more of a ride of it,but it was only going to be a short ride for me anyway.Great to see such a good turnout of riders and bikes.

Good to catch up with afew of you lot.
The ride back to Hams with Clint was simple and un eventful, and seeing Cary Neil etc going back up 22 was a nice also.
Clint sculled a quick coffee at chez tri boys and headed for Roto vegas direction.
As usual, that CB250Rs takes "man of the match', closely followed by the deaf ol buggar on the ear(pun) head.
Next time, I'll try and get their on time
    Cheers.

Cary and I went to the patti. Had a couple and then I got home and jumped into a nice hot bubble bath with my three kids. Lucky we have a big bath. And the 525 ran fine all day, Gotta love that. It was an awesome day. Thanks all for the good ride.
