STOLEN: YZF-R6 (Blue) St Lukes area

    Hi Guys,

I have the displeasure of yet again reporting my bike stolen.
As with the last time im putting it up here and will be sending out something viral to ask for everyones help in tracking the bike.

    Bike: Yamaha YZF-R6 2007
    Colour: Blue (std design)
    Plate: 69ZAZ
Stolen From: Morning Star place St Lukes, in resident carparking
Time: I last saw it Thursday 21st (about 7pm). After checking with neighbours 1 has said an alarm was going off about 3am Sunday morning, but my brother says he didnt see it there on Friday night.
    Contact: Wade, 0274332004
REWARD for information leading to the recovery: $500

Frustrating thing is about 30 apartments are within 10 metres of the spot and look right at where my bike is parked so the theives were pretty ballsy (closest apartment is right above, even a female could pee on my bike from their deck)

If anyone sees this bike out there can you let me know we all know the Police are too busy to be looking for stolen vehicles. It is pretty distinctive, i do know there are a couple around in Auckland now so i apologise to any guys who get sideways looks.

Any help would be appreciated as it is the second bike i have had stolen in the last couple of years (different bikes, different places) last one was recovered out west after a police chase where it had been used for street races, that was a GSX250 so no doubt the R6 will have a bit more power.

    Thanks guys.

Yeah am going through all the processes. Have emailed the Bike shops also.
They must have been pretty good though to get away with it and know what they are doing since the ignition is chipped and immobilised along with the alarm it had on it.
By all accounts they will have to replace the ignition so they must be reasonably professional.

Yes it is pretty distinctive. Have put your number in my voice dial as 'Stolen', so if I see it in the Albany Glefield area, will let you know whilst I am following it.

Good luck with getting it back.

Renegade Master - if you find this one, I'll chuck in the first hundy towards your BOUNTY.

Can someone clarify, it is legal to lynch bike thieves, right? I mean, the judge will understand!?
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

TOP TIP: USE a "Post It" note to attach the rego number directly onto your speedo. Keep an eye out for theiving bike scum, and assist brother bikers!

Nope. Lynching means that a mob is required. A simple high-speed lead injection is all that is needed.

Bad shit, buddy. But have you contacted all Yamaha agents to warn them if the arseholes order a new ignition?

Remember. They didn't need to run the bike for the heist. Just pick it up and load it on a trailer or other. But sooner or later they're going to need a new ignition, unless they intend to sell it for parts.

I swear to you man. If I see your bike, I will knock the fucker off it and to hell with the legal fall-out.

One question, though. Why didn't you chain it to something with one of those high tensile chains?

One of the really good things about owning a flash R6 is that just knowing you own it makes ya feel good. One of the really good things about owning a track-scarred. '95 Yami 600 is, no bastard would ever both stealing it.

Well it was alarmed with mongoose alarm and they have chipped ignitions so i thought it was reasonably safe, especially as about 30 apts can see it.
Just goes to show it never matters. I was going to get a big chain for it but had nowhere to store the chain when not in use.

Oh that sucks. I wish it was legal to lynch bike thieves.

We should put all car and bike thieves in a game reserve where they belong, and all the victims of their crimes should then be allowed to hunt them with high powered air rifles so they can suffer.
