Times like that you wish you had a hammer. Straight thru the pricks windscreen. That'd wipe the smirk off his face.

Carry you're used spark plugs around with you in your jacket of somthing, and when some cunt pulls this sort of shit on you, pass him, and hurtle a few across your shoulder. They make a fucken mess of bonnets/windscreens ect.

a brick through the driver's side window is much more effective to achieve those instantly desired results otherwise just note his number plate down for future reference . . .

    What then?

Hell yes, I know shit like this makes my blood boil. It would be so cool to deal with my anger by smacking the rest of the world in the head then riding off into the sunset leaving behind.... an angry motorist with even less likeing for bikes. Will he have learnt his lesson and stay home, getting out of bed only to walk as far as the phone to ring his counseller? or will he make sure he actually runs into the next bike he see's so they wont be able to get him?

I stuggle to deal with it. As a proffesional driver I get exposed to idiots all day, everyday. I get out of my truck onto my bike and they are still there!!
They aint going to go away. I cant cure this problem, nor can Mr Plod I am not very good at it (yet) but I deal with my anger then let it go. I laugh in the face of stupidity, if I didnt it would drive me mad

When it gets too bad, I stop and breath, I have kids and a wife (plus all the important shit like a bike). I tell my kids a simple thing "it dont matter who was in the right and who was wrong to the dead guy"

None from me, so he shouldnt take it out on me. Im not going to fuck up some innocent driver minding their own business just because some other car driver wronged me

Why dont we all just form vigilante groups like what was done last year?
vigilante action arises due to a percieved or actual lack of action from the police or policing forces from preventing crimes or dealing out sufficient punishment.

I met a couple at work who got knocked of their bike by a guy ina ute, he will get a slap with a wet bus ticket for what he did. That vigilante group the asians formed that you linked to, formed because of a lack of sufficient protection in their area. The police are amazing but they cant be around 24/7, if the descision had to be made about stopping someone myself or letting them continue to hurt people till the police arrived. I know what i would choose.

    You're right, he shouldn't.

It's a pity though that far too few motorcyclists stop to think how their actions impact upon other motorcyclists.

So am I correct in saying that he just pulled out into your lane going the same direction as you a bit late? How fast were you going? Maybe he just misjudged your speed or distance... We are human after all. Maybe he was then laughing because you were making such a scene just because you had to brake a little and now you've flown in front of him and he can see a funny bullseye target on the back of a no-face helmet.

I dunno, I wasn't there, but in the city when a car pulls out but is going the same direction as you it hardly calls for immense evasive action and aggression.

Sounds like you're just adding to the good old Aucklander driving stereotype really.

Glad you're OK, Drider. How did life become less precious.

When is doing what you have to, to be seen, your sentence.
Years ago the 'Workshop Dweller' was riding home on the freeway, when some old cager tried to give the HD a lap-dance by merging to the left, not looking, not caring. W/D yelled, no good, beeped, no good, gave the mirror a wack, no good, all awhile trying to move ahead. He thought he was OK until the car came up the left side Clearway & side shunted him into the path of 3 lanes of traffic.
Driver fined for changing lanes carelessly. From the Clearway? WD - multiple broken bones, rehab, got a car licence, rides less now.
There is no logic. There is only survival

Where are these bike cams available from? A great idea. Would love one for the car too.
A boot in the side of the biggest panel works a treat.

Like I said, I usually let it slide but he saw me and still pulled out, If I remember correctly a discussion at the chiller once had everyone spewing about that crash on waterloo quad, same thing. NO excuse for pulling out across traffic and yes I avoided him but it was still close and hairy.
