Lookings for shop that sells Shell motorcycle oil BOP or Waikato region

    Hi

Does anyone out there in Bay of Plenty or Wakaito Area

Know of any place selling Shell Motorcycle Oil

    I am after a 1 or 2 x 4l pack of Shell Advance Ultra 4

I have always put this oil in my bike from day 1, and wish to continue, but my local shop which did sell this no long. And i can't find another one in tauranga area that does. And it can only be ordered in a box of 4, and i only really need max of 2 at this point in time not 4.

I did contact shell, who put me on to some more bulk places which have it, of course none in stock locally, and they were even more expensive than local shop where i use to buy it.

    Anyone help me?

R.E.P.C.O. should order it in for you or just buy a case from Shell

if the local shops ain't gonna help you - its their loss

You can also use Mobil 1

you can only order a minium of 1 box from shell, and when i only want 1 or 2 bottles not 4,

unsure if Repco can order just one but i will drop them a line tomorrow.

I don't think they would stop making motorcycle oil. When i rang and talked to Shell this morning they did not say its not in production any more etc.

More like your bike shop trying to unload there stuff on to you

maybe its time to get some good stuff mate?

Shell kinda changed alot in the market, ie they have left it up to Orica to do and have essentially left NZ, and not planned to well as alot of old customers couldnt be fucked with the changeover issues and the high credit criteria in opening accounts, so they have gone elsewhere.........like Mobil for example.

Nope i want shell Advance 4. I have put that in my bike from day 1, and wish to continue that. At the time of buying the bike, that was what Brian Bernard was using in the k4 600's race bikes. they were racing. It was the perfered brand of my local dealer also. Ducati recommend shell in all there motorbikes also. And if i have to change it will not be Castrol, most likey Mobil 1.

Nah not pissed of yet, don't think anyone would buy them out anyway. Comeession commistion would have a good look at if one of current players brought them out.

Almost, if not all manufacturers who recommend oils, are paid to do so.

Cajun, I think my local shell has some - I'll take a ride down tomorrow and grab whatever they have if they have some.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

I've worked at a shell in hamilton for 4 years, never seen the stuff. Unless it also comes in a grey bottle. Is it for too stroke? cant tell from the small picture.
