From someone who doesn't often read reviews it was a fantastic read.
I am not mechanically minded enough to understand all the figures thrown out (up) during the standard reviews.

This one was more like getting to go out and play at a race track without having to fill in all the OSH paperwork so to speak.

    Thanks.

Enjoyed that.At a point in my motorcycling lifetime where at times the head down arse up thing is getting a little annoying after a few hours in the saddle, you make the next step seem somewhat plesurable,my tunes of choice will include Steve Earle and plenty of Cure.Great read, well done.

A good read indeed, Though its a pity to see the Harley becoming so refined. You buy them then you have to spend some serious coin getting some mongrel put back into them.

Perhaps they need to do a real retro model, Oil leaks, vibrations, see-saw suspension, a kick start, Huge set of bars,....but make it at least 120HP.

Good right up.You could of used a better non de plume for your new career though - ''Jim Walsh'' sounds just so damn boring, not original, and not believable.

I know it's not what you mean - but I suspect one (74) in good order today would sell for more than it did in horiginally.
