there is one the same as yours that has been sitting in DAS in chch for a while. not sure whats wrong with it but will ask next time im in there - the owner might be getting sick of it

That would be good, I don't mind getting a whole bike if the owner wants to get rid of it.

Ummmmm Didn't you get a hole in the crankcase/gearbox ? on the way to the D.B. I relly only need the top end. P.M. me if you want to get rid of it, I could be interested.'course it's prolly not worth much, side cover's fuckd

That got fixed not long after.
This problem was a plate that holds the wires down in the stator casing coming adrift and breaking the pickup coil wires.
Ordered a new stator while they had that apart.That got fitted over a month ago and now "new" problems keep arising....Which I'm not going to go into on here.

Also,if you're after parts,try Andersons M/C wreckers up north.When I had to replace that R/H clutch casing,he was the only one who had any and I'm sure he mentioned he had a later model engine also.
