    Perspex retailer?

im making a very small wind shield for a custom fairing im making and would like some perspex - quite bendable stuff.

a black tint would be awesome but clear will also work.

Anyone know a good place to buy?
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

    Airplex Industries. Ask for Jono.

They have machinery there, and could either sell you the raw material, or make anything you want. They have a huge warehouse of perspex bits and pieces that they manufacture.

A paint heat gun works for the bending bit. Most glass suppliers sell perspex.

What you probably want is clear acrylic, it's less brittle than perspex and can be heated and shaped. Try Aarkim plastics in Glenfield, they do materials as well as fabrication if you need it.

Sure, where are you wanting it from? Timbuktu?

If you're in Palmerston North, I have sourced it from Fibreform. If you want something made out of perspex too, they do incredible work, though you do pay for it.

I don't know why he wants to bend it??

A solid block of 1" black, cut in the shape of a headstone and suitably engraved is where that bike is at.

Like in a meatloaf clip. :-)

Many moons ago I made a spunky fly screen (20 plus years ago before they were popular) with a piece of clear perspex or similar.
I made up a wooden mould, put it in the oven at a low temp and the clear slowly heated up and gravity pulled it around the mould.

Nowadays you can buy a used screen for a CBZXGSXR thingy and just cut it to suit your custom needs.
