its basically a hot stanley knife blade, cuts the rounded part to make your tyre sharp again.

Just used to get the angle grinder out with a cut off wheel. Made a bit of a mess though.

yea i do the same. nothing like burning hot rubber flying about the place.

I just use one of my old thicknesser blades. does the same job, with out the mess

Maybe if I was racing I might worry about it but seeing as I'm only doing it for fun will just let them wear out naturally
