Yep, I have kiddie care sorted so I'm a Go for Sunday(for the morning at least).
Welly/Hutt/Kapiti guys, we will meet at the Rimutaka Caltex - this is the Caltex on north side of Upper Hutt, just south of the Akatarawa Road turning that goes to Waikenae.

At the moment Joe has 11am meet up at the Pylon Track scheduled, which would mean depart the Rimutaka Caltex by 10.40am at latest.

If you guys are fancying heading off for a gravel road loop in the 'Rapa after the pylon track, I'd recommend we bring the start time forward maybe an hour to enable this comfortably and not get back home too late in the afternoon when its gettin friggin cold! I personally have got to be back in Eastbourne for 15.45 anyway, but if most want to stay with 10.40am departure from the Caltex, that's fine by me, I can cut out early at some point if need be no worries - I'll go with the flow!

Joe & the rest of you, what do you think about the start time, anyone up for heading out a bit earlier?

Thx Joe! C'mon then you Welly/Hutt/Kapiti guys...... do you wanna start a bit earlier on Sunday, ie maybe 10am at Pylon track rather than 11am?

There is a chance I could be out on sunday, pending whether I've got any sleep between now and then, and the weather.
I'm not particularly interested in doing the pylon track though so may have to make my own way somewhere.

there is another track just past the blocks that goes up the hill before the track we know.

i dont think southerlands would be a good idea on the PD mate.
we can ziz zag our way from featherston up to gladstone
pub for a cupper. then go through summer hill in to martinbrough.

that way you guys are closer to you road home.

I havent!

Have done the Sutherlands 3/4 times, dropped the bike every single time at least once. No pics tho so I guess I acutally didn't drop it and just imagining things cause I don't have time to ride
