    New mirrors

    well ive taken off the origional mirrors and got a set of bar end mirrors off trademe, must say im very impressed! just had to machine up a couple of allow bushes so that they mount nicely to the end of the bars.

    Looks a bit different aye? What's the rear view like?
    My only worry is that if you drop the bike, they're the first thing that would go, even at slow speed, rather than just scraped bar ends.
    I figure car drivers must be Apes. All they do is sit in cages all day & grunt

    yeah i know they will be the first thing to go, rear view is amazing!! they look much nicer in person i must admit

    The improved vision from bar end mirrors out weighs the thought of them being smashed. You have two of them and if both mirrors are broken then you will prob have more to worry about. Love my bar end mirror
    new tire already

    for 100 bucks for the set it wont break the bank if they are damaged and i can just slap the origionals back on

    Make sure you carefull riding between cars during rush hour. It looks quite a bit wider. :-)

    hard to believe i think its actually narrower, the edges of the origionals stuck out a long way

    Yeah, given that the mirrors are much closer to you, you probably get a much better view behind you for the same width of bike...

    I looked at these for my Tiger, which has overly small mirrors. Unfortunately they spoil the look.

    That second pic looks like a character out of Pixar's "Robots" movie.

    Heh yeah it looks like it has angry eyebrows, or it's doing some sorta strong-man pose.
