    Bikes: Guzzi California 111 LAPD, Yamaha XS750E, mini moto kneeler sidecar, son's old push bike, son's old junior drag bike, Top Gas class drag bike
    1st Bike: (very quietly) 1963 Vespa Sportique 150 - quickly followed by 1953 BSA 350
    One of the better moments: beating one of the locals on a newish Jap bike through the (old) Cromwell Gorge on my BSA Lightning
    Another: seeing my son build, ride and win in an electric drag bike race.
    Years riding: 40+ and only about one year (total) without at least one bike

    First/best bike memory: Solo Wellington to Hamilton and back to Wellington, 1400km in a single day, butt was sore as, made the trip over the Parapara's. Pretty awesome using my Triumph Tiger....

    Bike: Wicked-sounding Honda Bros 400, but there's an upgrade in the pipeline
    First bike: A wicked-sounding GPZ250
    Years riding: 8, on and off.
    First/best bike memory: First time over the Kopu-Hikuai road, synchronised rider/pillion bird flipping at dangerous Indian driver. They're all pretty good actually.

    First/best bike memory: First - not getting stuck in traffic on the way home at night. Best memories, cruising around mid Wales on a Tiger 90. December 29th last year when the wife of 30 years decided it was time to try riding pillion for the first time ever, and found that she LOVES it.
    Estimated km to date: 20,000 a year for the first 10 years - I was doing about 60k plus each way for work for 5 years, about 7,500 a year since, so about 400,000 so far
