    Any ideas about these boots?

Hey jokers, gonna pester you a bit more (been on these forums waaaaaaaaay too much of late).

Just wondering what you reckon about these and has anyone ever tried them in wet/cold riding conditions?

I'll be doing a big ride next week and want to be plenty warm.

The Teknic Powerskin stuff works well in the wet. Give the boots a decent going over with Snoseal or Nikwax, taking special care at the seams and packing the join between sole and boot.

The way to keep your feet warm is to keep your core temperature up and your head warm. You lose 33% of your body heat through your head. Get a silk balaclava, and woollen socks.

That looks like reasonable price for those.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

And don't make the mistake of squeezing a second pair of socks into your boots.

Constricts the circulation making your feet even colder.

Awesome, cheers guys. I've noticed a huge difference since buying warm jacket and pants in how warm my fingers and toes feel. Steel cap boots leather riding boots tend to stay pretty cold though, hence I'm looking at these winter ones. Balaclava idea sounds good! I'll have to do some hunting around.

I would go for kathmandu thermal socks - bought some for some work had to do up in the mountains out of queenstown - was at the top, in the snow for around 8h at a time overnight and I still have all my toes:-)
