Yea read that in the other thread, sound good. Only ever been up sharlands the once on the old xl600, but had hill/gravity issues. wish I had kept the xl now.

I have a spot in mind, will be going out there tomorrow am, rain or no. Don't think the photo would be useful in the dark, so it has had to wait until I get some baby-free time during daylight.

It was funny. We got to the top of a hill (eventually) and started taking off a few of the many layers of excess clothing adventure riders wear and Paul says with a smug look "Arn't you hot?" standing there in MX gear...

At the end of the ride, Colin turns on his heated grips and Paul is shivering his arse off
