Que? Riding's been primo so far today. Nothing like greasy slick clay, and slippery rocks hiding in brown puddles to let you know are actually riding and remind you to pay attention. Then there were also the downed trees on the Maungatapu, but despite the Maitai being in flood, the water crossings were all at tame/summer levels. Nearly ran over a 40cm fish in the ford below the caretaker's cottage.
