Ok it didnt get the most votes,
but it did generate the most interest

and most emportantly someone was prepeared to sort the venue

Just wondered.

I'm also wondering if the black powder club that shoots there would be interested in doing a little something for us? Would anyone else be interested in that? Like perhaps having the opportunity of having a shot?

Wonder if it would be worth me bringing my hawken .45, got couple pounds of powder too. Na I will just bring the powder.

There is a target shooting range across the road from the Village
I am sure that it would not take much effort, maybee a few $ and we could get the gunpowder club to come out Sat afternoon for us all to have a supervised play with their long rifles, blunderbusses and flintlocks

Don't you mean "Flinchlock". Sorry I'm into more reliable forms of ignition. Bangin a hunk of quartz on the side of ya gun seems so primitive to me.

thats only if you turn off at Rotomanu & then it's just under 12k's then you hit tar seal to the camp & if you come from the Reefton end you take the nelson creek turn off & have tar all the way

I'm sure they will if you ask fq we had them last year on the Bottle Lighting & it was gold coin ($2) for two shoots lotsya fun
