Did anyone else notice the Yamahas came out on on harder slicks (didn't have the white sidewall) wonder who picked them ?
Stoner did well to win Pete I'll give him that . Quite a few others shone in the first segment though and made him look average in the wet.
Melandri !! bet he had a big smile under that hat, breezing past his old Ducati team mate.
Jorge sure proved his metal huh, after that slip off !!!!
But it was the 250's for me ! we're going to miss them. Gaz.

Pedrosa may have lost his chance being injured and all, so this is shaping up to be a three way battle. Could be the best season in years.

And what a 250 race! Snr Simoncello is a naughty boy, but he did much the same last year. The Race Director stayed at the same Agritourismo as us last year and speaking to him after the race he seemed to think it was a "boys will be boys" scenario. Obviously he's still of the same mind.

Just because someone disagrees with your pre-season ejaculation about him, hardly makes them Stoner knockers.

Perhaps it just makes them Crasherfromwayback knockers...
If you haven't seen them about round these parts maybe you have your head up your arse?

Seriously, show me one post in this thread that could construed as "knocking" Stoner.

Round these parts doesn't purely mean this thread. Pretty sure if I could be arsed I'd find you one though. Hope you enjoyed the race.

Certainly enjoyed that GP, 125's for the corner speed/changing of direction, 250's for the comeback kid (Pasini) & his last lap super effort & The MotoGP boys all had a pretty good story to tell from that one.

I'm hoping that Moto2 will be a worthy successor.
At 150kg/155hp it's going to be different, that's for sure.

Yeah alot of people seem to be against change but I think thats par for the course. I totally agree that it will be a sad day when there are no more 250's around but things change! With the reported 90 odd entries for the class it certainly sounds like it appeals to the masses and we will see a full 40+ grid for the first time in ages!!

Its nice to see the young pommy boys doing well, but christ I'd love to be able to turn down the screeching pom commentators and hear a bit more engine noise. Gaz.

Ah good to see Rossi Back on the highest part of the podium again fantastic race for first place betwwen Rossi and Lorenso in the last three laps in many ways it was a race to rival last years race at Leguna seca. Although Stoner was out of the top Two he rode a brave race to maintain third place considering he may have been riding with a case of influenza
