All cool - I'm out anyways. This is all just getting too hard. I don't know how this has come about as we all just used to turn up and go. Why all the drama???? (retorical question)
Burn the rubber not your soul baby!
I believe there is still a miss quote or misunderstanding… idleidolidyll is talking about distance, not speed.
I will be there on Thursday because I enjoy riding and I am also enjoying the company of the other riders, hope to see you all there as well.

I'm out anyways - I've got a date on Thursday night. Hopefully I'll get a bit more action out of this one than I got with Caseye!!!!![]()

OK I will be there on Thursday night, I'm happy to go TEC and I think from now on if I'm not going to be there that we designate someone else as TEC too.
Second, we can and usually do tell everyone present where we are going.
Most of the time, bearing in mind that some nights we just don't know where the ride is heading until everyone has got to the start point.
The issue of speed needs to be put to bed once and for all.
So here it is.
If you don't want to go faster than you feel comfortable with, DON'T.
Ride to your own ABILITY and enjoy the ride.
If conditions are rough, slow down, no one is going to give you a hard time for being SANE!'
I think it is a good idea for everyone who wants to ride on a Thursday night and get some experience at night riding and riding as a group( not necessarily in a bunch) to Pm either Jafar or myself and let us have your cellphone numbers.
This will enable us to keep in touch with all riders before during and after a ride.
Jafar rang me last Thursday night because I had said I was coming and I hadn't shown up.I thank him for that as I may well have been lying in a ditch on the side of the Southeren motorway, instead I was at home cursing at my inanimate computer.
So, if there are any more concerns about the SATN Rides please voice them here and lets get this thing put to bed.
As far as I'm concerned personally, I'd be disappointed if people still wanted to have two distinctly different groups of riders out on the same roads on the same night.
I feel it's not necessary and defeats the purpose of riding together (figuratively speaking) and gaining expereince from seeing what the older and or more experienced riders do in different situations and under different road and traffic conditions.
That my two cents worth.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
caseye, that's about 12 cents worth mate
K I'll accept ten cents worth back as a credit! Happy now??? LOL.Be seeing you on Thursday, won't we.
