Still a fun ride though! From the roadworks guy who I chatted to about bikes, to the nightmarish little helldog that chased me up a hill, to the amount it improved my hill starts.

I'd say it was an hour well spent!
Dam after I saw you racing around and heading back through the tunnel I figured you had them and headed home, unfortunately there was a spot where I turned uphill into some loose chip and the bike had a wee lay down, going to be costly. Oddly always seems to be when I am at low speeds that it does this, I am going to get the XJ running its far more nimble.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

    That sucks! Are you ok?

Must have been quite an evening for any Lytellton residents paying attention to the environment, all these bikes ripping around in no direction in particular!

Bugger about the drop. Those roads were very dodgy tonight, largely what put me off getting too far off the beaten track. And there were roadworks for days!

LOL. Looks like I missed the drama. Was at work til late. I would have said phoenix because it is meant to be reproduced as close as possible. Having said that I wasn't here and the next tag is up so let's keep going. Probably just one tag is good idea in future tho. We get confused enough.
Sorry to hear about the bike bin too. That's a bummer.

As the others said, that's not good news JMemonic. That's one of the best things about the DR, you just don't worry about little fall overs as when you pick it back up you can't tell it happened. It's very nice to ride with that in mind when you get into a tight spot.

I'll probably go hunting tonight after finishing work about 8:30pm.

Damn sorry to hear about the drop. Isn't it alway the way though? The slower you go the easier they are to put down? I've done that twice to mine now. Lucky no marks or dings and only one broken mirror.

But the faster you go the bigger the mess... at least that's what happened to my last big Sport Tourer. Had to buy a complete new bike after that. Many years ago now.

Yep, the entrance to the Hyllton Heights is correct. The clue "Overseas" referred to the For Sale billboard stating that overseas owner must sell...

What is the location of your attempt at picture 3?

And yes, picture 1 would be the hardest I believe.
