I'd be inclined to suggest that it's possible she DID just throw the ticket in the glove box without reading it, I used to do it all the time. Now, of course, I have so much more respect for the law.

Even if she DID say "kitchen bitch" the cop probably should have written something along the lines of 'kitchen hand' just to be polite. That's part of the problem; the cops make themselves targets for this sort of thing through a basic lack of manners. He was a twat to write it down, let him take the flak.

Here we have an honest cop. So why does he get reprimanded?

Even if she she did say it (which of course she did) he should have written 'kitchen hand' on the front, and noted her 'kitchen bitch' statement on the back of his copy - it would go to show her attitude should he need to bring it up in court. I've been in that situation and it's just not worth the hassle.

I have noticed that people who get a lot of tickets tend to do that - you haven't been one of those have you???

Maybe it was one of that cops bad days?

Least he didn't U turn in front of her like one did to me yesterday.
Lucky i'm aware of their antics, and had slowed down in the anticipation of him doing such a move, otherwise it was him,or the oncoming traffic.

So. She said "occupation = kitchen bitch". Cop's willing to swear to that. I'll believe that, cop wouldn't write that down unless she said it, cops have no sense of humour. Now she says its not true.

So, charge her with giving false particulars.

When I was 'Jack the Lad' sure, had heaps of the things on the walls of various flats. They made entertaining reading for visitors. I had one with "EXCESSIVE SPEED" (yes, in block letters, complete with exclamation mark) written on it. No estimate, no radar, he just thought it was excessive. I can't recall what the fine was, if any. I had so many that when the boffins caught up with me I denied about a third of them and presto! That one third disappeared.
