Never bought a brand new vehicle... just can't bear the instant value drop when it rolls out the showroom door!

Which is why you all should!! Then sell them to cheapskates like me!

    08 CBR600rr (800 demo km from Boyd)

I didn't think I could afford (or wanted) to buy anything brand new… until I did the math

I was spending $140 in petrol + $40 for parking to get to work every week in my car (plus being an angry man stuck in traffic).

My new Hyosung 250 was $7,100. It used $30 petrol per week, and parking is free saving me $150 every week. With the money saved, the Hyo paid for itself in full in 12 months. I sold that bike after a year for $5500. Now, this is the amount of money the bike made me because I would have spent that amount in petrol and parking.

I put that money toward my current CBR 600 costing $14,500 so this bike owed me $9000. I pay more in petrol ($45/wk) but it still saves me $135/wk. After 17 months the bike pays for itself. I’ve had it for just over a year so in 3 months time it’s all square. Anything I get for selling the bike after that is money made… to possibly go on the next one and we start all over.

I don’t know why more people in my situation don’t swap over. Bikes pay you to ride them

Oh, yeah… I’m over the moon.
