I saw Sonny & Terry with Taj Mahal and Ry Cooder with David Linley at the Sydney Opera House in the late 70's. What a day that was.
Not long after Thin Lizzy at the same venue - but they were outside.
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on
Probably - it's almost 30 years hey. My clearest recollections are of David Lindley's Mandolin - and the acoustic version of Cooder's 'Little Sister'.
And my Friend 'Albert' Rowe used to do the most stunning rendition of 'If you ever' and when I heard S&T do that live...I understood the blues.
One of 'those' moments.
I've still got the album somewhere....
