    I would describe these things as "gentle all rounders".
    Had a mate with a KLE 400 when I had my Transalp - I was quite surprised how well that thing went but then he was about 40kg lighter than me as well !!
    These would go most places you will take other adventure bikes - but don't expect to do it at the pace you'd do it on a more serious machine. It is a budget bike after all.
    As a twin it is probably better as a road bike than a 500 single?

    The KLE400 did OK on the 2nd DB1K.
