just tell them your a bitch...

if they want that sort of private info, they should take you out for lunch and you can show them how it feels to have a crash on a road....by pushing them out the door of the car...(after lunch)

    what a ride so far!!!!

Sounds like the customer satisfaction survey's ACC send out only to people with recently accepted claims.

ie, the ACC satisfaction survey's don't include people
    • who've been declined
    • are waiting in limbo
    • have been on the books long enough to be f*&ked off (ie. more than 4 weeks)

Of course the survey's are done through an "independant" research company. Using claimants lists that ACC provide, and a strict set of closed questions.

    wankers.

State that you are concerned about the danger cheesecutters pose to riders. Have a go at the state of the roads in your area, location of manhole covers on roads or other dangers we face on a daily basis. The paint on the roads not being non-slip??

Use the survey as a "Good Thing"(tm-BD)!

Oi! I had a motorbike accident* in 2007 and they didn't send me a survey!

Actually I would be quite keen to participate because I was hit from behind when I stopped at a stop sign. I would be very happy to share my opinion about the 'skills' of car drivers and the dangers they pose to us law-abiding and sensible motorcyclists.

Hmmm... I have moved house since then... I seriously think I might give them a call and ask if they need my new address... does anyone have a contact phone number for the survey organisers?

*actually I was hit by a car. I really object to calling it a "motorbike accident" because
    a) it wasn't an accident. It was an incompetent car driver.
    b) it was nothing to do with the motorbike. Could just have easily have been a pushbike or a pedestrian.
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!

Well I wrapped myself around a pole and wrote of that bike then with the replacement bike I got blown of the road into a ditch 2 frggin weeks later in 2005. Those were the only 2 accidents that year where I injured myself enough for ACC.

Then 2 years later a car did a U-turn on me and I broke my foot. The car didnt stop and I didnt think I had broken anything, it was just a bit sore at the time so I rode home and then went up to a mates. A few hours later it was really swollen and sore so I went to the hospital and came out with a cast. I cant call that too stressful at all, especially as the bike *was* OK (that time).

I guess what I am saying is that I had a significantly worse time in 2005 when I was still a noob and riding like I had something to prove where as in 2007 it was another person fault... If they wanted me to complete the survey for the accidents in '05 they would get a different response to the way I felt towards my accident in '07....

I've been asked to do the same for other injuries I've sustained in the past (I've had plenty) in various sports. I don't think they are targeting motorcyclist specifically.

This particular survey is motorcycle rider and pillion specific, which is odd cause they want us to talk about our "feelings" about this and that etc etc... Everyone knows that motorcyclists dont have feelings!
