    The wai wai express

28 days loss of licence, 50 dermerit points and $630 fine. How does that grab ya?!
I should have gunned it, I would have easily made it but my conscience got the better of me and I stopped.
Coming up the Ohope hill on saturday, didnt see one car the whole way up, just cresting the top and 800m away he comes around from the dump at exactly the same time. His lights instantly on as he throws his car around. The rest is history.
And i truely didnt know it was a 80km zone, now I do!
130 in a 80! He was also going me for a dangerous driving charge until his sergent worked out who I worked for (minimum 6mths on the wai wai express) so that was lucky (I guess).

Was just up that way, bummer dude. Not exactly the best place for a runner though
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Twas 100 last time I travelled it.We used to see who could go the fastest up the hill and speeds in excess of 160 were common.(When i wore a younger man's clothes)

    I follow the 50/50/90 rule.
Anytime I have a 50/50 chance of getting it right there is a 90% probability I will get it wrong

Yeah yeah, should have flown the coop.
The copper also reckoned I was going faster than 130 and repeated this many times during our discussion. (I was grabbing a handful as his unit locked onto me) But as Mixone said, it is a fun hill to bomb and speeds he mentioned are possible (and a bit of front wheel air over the top)
BUT I DONT DO THAT SORT OF SHIT ANYMORE.
At least until I get my licence back.
Hey, it was an unlucky break and i've been on 0 dermerits and no fines for over 4 years.....

What extraordinary profession am I missing out on, kind sir?
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.
