Last two jobs I had insisted that I get a car licence... I really don't like driving them, but I do love them!

First one was driving the pig-bed truck and godknows what on the back, and the other was delivering groceries in a completely full van.

Just shit scared I'm gonna crash into something, cause I can't use my hands as whiskers
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

    Big Dan

Can I ask you what on earth you are doing on a biker site then.?
I genuinely don't geddit. You don't own a bike, you have no interest in owning one then why on earth do you wish to be on here? What do you get out of being a member of a biker forum?
This is a genuine question not a stab I really don't understand.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

Fixed it for you, for purposes of accuracy
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

dunno what it is, but i LOVE that comment about the hands. it makes sense in a funny sort of a way.

for me... ive never driven or owned a car and never will. ive had several exes try and talk me into learning, but it doesnt interest me. strangely enough, i feel safer on the bike. when i go anywhere with the olds, its of course in a car, and i spend most of the trip white knuckled [specially if dads driving. worst driver ever.] im also a lot jumpier at intersections and find myself stomping on the non existant foot brake as a reflex.
thats one reason i left susan... she was such a bad driver. going to wellington was a nightmare as she would drift in and out on lanes at roundabouts, she wouldnt look before entering roundabouts and nearly got us involved in more t-bones than i can count. im talking cars that i saw from half a block away, she wouldnt see until i was yelling at her to fucking stop.

Generally I use the wagon to move Mrs Gonnr and midget Gonnr around and just fetch / carry stuff (Normally Mrs Goonr's bloody shopping). I use the bike to move me around.

A cage is darn useful for towing a trailer load of dirtbikes to the trailride...or the racebikes to the track. And you can eat a pie while driving a cage....

Please let me make this clear i know my orignal post kinda makes me out like i'm having a go at bikes and/or bikers cause i'm not maybe i should have been more cleared and thought more before typing but whats done is done now

I'm not having a go at any biker i have respect for them for being able to live the dream and ride in freedom if you ask the bikers who travel between waterview and the airport between the hours of 8-9am and return 5-6pm if i see a biker in my rear view mirror i pull over far left or right depending on which side the biker is lane splitting 9 times out of 10 i get a friendly wave saying thanks

I'm very sorry if i've offended anyone
