Alrighty - I'm trying to find good quality all leather winter gloves with armour that don't cost a fortune.
I can find textile ones but my last two sets have worn out.
Budget - under $200
What can you recommend.....

If you don't really like the bulk of winter gloves, how about your favourite summer pair with waterproof overmitts from: http://www.rain-off.com/.
I'm a recent convert to these and wish I'd done it years ago as I've always hated the bulk of my Teknics winter gloves. Thes mitts are totally waterproof but importantly, they're wonderful for keeping the hands warm. Not exactly sexy-looking but who cares at the price?
As mad as a spider, and twice as hairy !
Dririder Alpines....around $150, though I managed to get mine for $119
Just had mine a little while now. They could probably be warmer for the super freezing mornings, but they seem to be a good balance between warmth, waterproofness and thickness.
They have armor, but it's not to the same standard as my summer gloves
Ok, ok, I know you said with armour, but - I use the Darbi Tourmaster glove.
Last ones are 5yrs old and still waterproof.
Warmth is fine for Auckland, but I have some glove liners for if I'm heading south.
Got new ones now as the old are quite thin and not as warm, though they are still waterproof.
None of the textile ones seem to last. I had one set wear out on my indicator switch - apparently you can indicate too often.

Quasi is your man,he has specials, old stock, run outs etc.Mine are thick and warm, normally I don't like the bulky gloves, these are bulky but still give feel of the grips if that makes sense.
