    Many thanks guys....

    Well done Clint, thanks Mate!

It was a great weekend and a fun ride.....Mishap free, mechanically good and we had all four seasons for the weekend...
The Motu was nice and dry apart from the little ford, the company was great and the scenery spectacular....

Well, almost mishap free, I did notice this approx 40Km from Clints place...

I have posted some photos in my album, have a look if you want to....Not many as I was too busy riding..

UPDATE: Muffler is off and F1 Engineering said it can be Tig welded no problem...I went into my local Piako Stainless, these guys put together silos and tankers. Pick it up this afternoon he said and it will be good as new....Awesome living in a little town sometimes...

You need a 990 they crash much betterer......

Just for Tri-boys benefit, I can safely say I didn't fall off in the water.

Anywhere else, of course, was an entirely different story.

Woo Hoo! what a great ride with a good bunch.

I just got a txt from GunnyRob, unfortunately despite the attentions of the roving BMW engineering team the R1200 canbus is still a 'can'tbus' & the GS is getting a ride home with the AA. Bummer. But I guess only having one major issue out of 30 odd bikes isn't too bad a result for the weekend.

    Cheers
    Clint

Nah, the slack bugger piked again. Had some lame excuse about having swine flu.

EddieB needs to share some of his harden up pills with him, that was a pretty good effort riding up all the way from Welly in the early morning snow, frost & dark.

I think I dried out by the time I got back to Auckland.
