I'm all keen for a few longer rides, but in saying that what we have been doing the last couple of weeks have been great, dont care where we end up if its a pub or a cafe somewhere its fine with me, ending up at the village on hotdog night is fine with me too.

I will be there tomorrow unless its hosing down when I leave work.

I enjoy the SATNR. IMHO it's not as good as it used to be, but it's ten times better than the West AKLD one! I'm not a current SATNR diehard, I only go occasionally, but probably the last four or five rides that I've been on have lead to the same place, and by the sound of it a fair number of the ones that I've missed have ended at the same destination. i'd dearly love to go somewhere different. However, if everybody else want to go what has become 'the regular', then that's fine. I'm not trying to force anything. I'll either suck it up or go elsewhere. I'm for more riding, less drinking/talking BS. Too much more of this and I'll be willing to PAY $250 to go somewhere different! Maybe I'll chuck in a few hotdogs too!
    As you were.

That's great and sounds like what I was suggesting; for me the paddy and the rides to it had become stale.

    Cheers puddy,
That's about what I reckn except the last ride I went on seemed to indicate the ride and destination were not gonna change.
It looks like reason has prevailed.

The suggestion that we elect a leader had turned me off too. Hope that's over with cause I hate authority. It usually ends up an ego issue.

I took a vote, with having done over a 1000ks on the bike in the last 7 days, I will give tonight a miss.

Enjoy the ride people and be safe, see you next week.

Talking Two-fiddy, hot dog and bikes!

Well tonight proved to be the winning one - so finally the SATNR as been there and done that....yes the $250 cash was won by one of us! See pics for proof it's not all pffft

Over 25 bikes there tonight ...and I got to take the new Moto Guzzi Bellagio for a bit of spin...yes we went for a ride, well over an hour out the back roads and it was as dry as the bottom of a budgies bird cage, oh and the staff made sure I got my hot dog tonight!

To all those that don't like where this ride goes etc why not just do what I do and take your own ride either alone or with a mate or two? That way you get to go exactly where you want when you want at the pace you want. I like riding alone or with a couple of mates only over the larger club type rides.
