I did a run over to Duvauchelles yesterday and the hill was in very good condition - only about 3 corners with a bit of grit.
Mind you at this time of year I always ride that road like a Nana as you never know what you'll find mid corner.
I went over to Little River mid arvo today in the car with the family to take some photos of old sheds. It cracks me up doing this run in the car as I do it so often on the bike.
The first decent corner in the car is a mess of squealing tyres, yelling kids and the head shake from Mrs B, with me muttering "shit I can take it heaps faster on the bike......"![]()
Yeah i had a great run over there yesterday, and i found nearly the whole hill was in pretty good condition and the new reseals are mighty nice. Just the serious grit just past barrys bay was the only real challenge.
The port hills are a nightmare...
And we got to watch as these guys went past us at Devauchelles. Pretty impressive to see/hear.
What a great day it was
I was there on my streetfighta![]()
