Could be, especially when the Turkish judicial system is slow and in need of money. However, The Hague Convention by virtue shouldn't be affected by Turkeys corrupt judges, lawyers, politicians, police etc etc. You're either a member or not. There's no middle ground.

So if you're into child abduction, Turkeys the place.

No wonder Europe doesn't want them to be part of the EU.

    Update

I spoke with Bruce last night. He arrived in Turkey last Friday to spend a month with his abducted son as arranged by the Turkish court. He traveled all that way and his ex has taken his son away for a month. The worst part is there is nothing he can do about it.

    Nice one Turkey.

Turkey is desperately trying to get EU membership.
Perhaps Bruce's campaign could benefit from a push to make leaders of all the EU countries aware of Dylan's kidnapping...and Turkey's lack co-operation?

    Tell Oprah Winfrey?
    Publicity for the cause?

Thoughts and prayers with Bruce...justice will come!

As discussed earlier in this thread, that would only work if the SAS could return directly to NZ from Turkey without stopping off.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

That really pisses me off. If there is one thing I have learnt - it's that you can't rely on Government agencies to help you out.

Thanks for the updates Finn, have been keeping up with this story!

Feel for the guy, I read a letter last week, addressed to his wee son.

    Very sad for him.
I'd like to say to him, to never give up, but I get the feeling that somehow, that's not an option.
