The 1125's an interesting machine. Part of me wants to rush out and buy it, and part of me wants to rub heammoroid cream on it.....

What's it like to ride? (ok I'm off to buy the mag )

Great pix (not sure about that Buell though).

Nice pix as always BD, I hope you get a nasty arse rash from sitting on so many lovely saddles, sorry just a teensy bit jealous here.

What's up with the Buell though Dave, I know you always find something good to say about a bike but it looks like an off duty plumbers project with a few cheap red bucket off cuts thrown on, I'm sure it's a reasonable bike but it makes my eyes sting.
    Oh bugger

I like the look of the 1125CR. I don't think it's pretty, but I find it engaging.

All that is really different appearance-wise is it has the radiators split to the sides for access to the engine and better weight distribution - and they are dressed up in some air scoops.

They remind me of a jet engine intake or a Big Daddy Rat Fink Hot Rod

The bike has over 140 horsepower, weights 170-something kg and has Buell mass centralised handling.

It's rather raw boned and exhilarating-ly quick.

    They suck...you're fired!

and what the hell was the Buell design team thinking? Saying this, must be a thrill ride and a half I'm sure.

I like 'the difference' of it too. Everything they do is for a functional reason.

Fair enough...but then, I can't help being a girl and wishing for more of a blend of looks with functionality.

    Hence my love of Triumphs.

Did you enjoy riding it though?

Ooooh yeah. Too small for me in the long term, but viable for a test.

I'm just as much a Triumph enthusiast, and I also like numerous Hondas, several Kawasakis, a couple of Suzukis.....errrr....and a heap of others

I recall that picture of the 1125CR had a filename of wrong_side.jpeg or sommat similar..
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

I hear you...being brand specific is really restrictive of one's riding pleasure.
I wouldn't mind being able to give the Victory a wee spin. Quite a sexy little number even though I'm not normally a cruiser kind of girl.
