Kawhia/Raglan ride this weekend (8-9 August)

Metservice weather report for August 8-9th

Its not going to rain this weekend.........unbelievable

So thought i might drag the bike

out of the shed and hit the coast rds.
Raglan to kawhia and have a look around taharoa or the other way round
I have no preference to Saturday or Sunday so if anyone else is keen let me know

Might be keen, sat or sunday, whichever is nicest weather suits me best. (EDIT: Sunday looking better for me)
But will have to see how work pans out.

Slow paced? Been off the bike for the last couple of months, I want to ease back into it.

Will probably just join you for the Raglan end of things (coming from Auck), might do a SH22 or maybe a Port Waikato on the way down, then back via relatives in Horotiu

You cant leave the Rapa we need someone down there with your local knowledge and who knows the land owners

Jeepers mate, you must have been busy, or just hate riding in the cold!

Looks like I am going to have to pass on this one, too much stuff going to justify a day away on the bike. Might try for a casual afternoon outing tho. Have to be semi local.

Taking the bike around the forestry this weekend. Leslie road and around the back down through to Puriri Rd etc...exploring the tracks in between. I have a good route made now as I have done it three or four times....
So, if you want something different?

ive just finished physio from that injury on the KCR

, time to give it a good work out

around taharoa and a run down the beach on the southern side of the entrance to the kawhia harbour.
