That sounds like a pretty reasonable explanation. Its too cold to go off to taupo or wellington for the day so I do spend a bit of time riding around napier and hastings and getting little things done

Worse than that , found a van on the expressway this morning, I had both detectors with me and a bit of time. 1st pass with the Bel STI was worse than useless , went off as I passed the van. The second with the escort X50 was just useless , you would have had the time to smile as it took the photo.
May as well turn off K band and just concentrate on staying at 100kmh

    HOG Poker Run

I have just been talking with Andrew Emerson of the HB Harley Owners Club.

They are organsing a Poker run on Saturday 26 September, all bike types welcome. Tickets are $25 per person with $500 going to the best hand. Also a spot prize for those who have prepaid of a BMW 735i car (not sure but could be regarded as a booby prize ).

Details - Leaves from the Bluewater Hotel at 1pm SHARP. Registration can be done on the day starting at 1130hrs at the Bluewater but those who register on the day will not be eligable for the car prize. Tickets limited to 500. The run will cover approximatley 180km. Finishes back at the Bluewater where the spot prize will be drawn. If you win that but are not at the Bluewater then you miss out on the car but will still win a cruze on Rodney Greens boat for you and 29 of your mates).

They are fundraising for their clubrooms which are in the process of being built.

For tickets phone Andrew Emerson on 027 354 1446

There are 30 of these special editions in NZ.
You get a certificate saying what number yours is and all that rubbish.
Apparantly the special editions are the only k7 model that came in orange and black scheme. (for NZ) - you can get the scheme outside of nz but its not a special edition and doesnt have carbon fibre goodies etc.
They have all these carbon fibre parts on them.

So me thinks they were a standard black and orange scheme. Got them into NZ, chucked on some carbon fibre here and there, gave you some fancy special edition shit and a certificate and theres only 30 of them.

Thats the best I can understand it.
    Still common as muck

And we don't condone exceeding the 100kph rule.

    Oh yeah, forgot.............you pass.

Ride to be confirmed yet, but I guess it will be in the next day or so.

Rob's keen for Porangahau too, so guess see what other options turn up maybe.
    So organise it

I mite have to leave a little earlyier so I can catch you comeing past on me camera. Whatever happens I will be going for a ride we have to make a definate time as some of the Southerners want to join in.
