I like the looks you get from Joe Blogs , when they hear the clutch and wonder if they should tell you theres something wrong lol, and if they do try to tell you you pull the clutch in and confuse them

Is it true that these clutches fall to bits on a regular basis.
...sounds like they come half-fucked from the factory !

there great clutchs, just a few cap screws to take the cover off, 6 more off the pressure plate and dust them out, i have replaced the pressure plate bearing the pushrod runs on, a huge expense, $8.00,
i would rather have my clutch plates as dust rather than mixing in my oil,

yep all done, had the wheel machined and sleeves put in both sides for the bearings and new bearing spacer, none of the binding problem it had before, Ducati Qaulity Control , whats thats aye

i talked to Ken Eyles when i got the duke and he said the wheel bearing spacers were crap and give trouble after you replace the bearings

Hows th RL? ready for a ride to the Classic club? I started my TY in the weekend ,all good, still got crap brakes, you get that with original shoes on a 1974 bike aye

Speaking of bloody Ducatis.........got mine going today.

After getting it all ready for Sat and then it not going on the day!!!

Traced it to a faulty neutral switch located at the rear of the engine casing.
After going thru all the electrics.
So, new front tyre this week, PR2.
Seems I spend more time with it apart than actually riding it.

Oh well, gotta love them, all ready for Saturday touch wood.

Whats with the infestation of Buells in the Bay.
Got 2 to do WOFs on tommorrow............seem to be popping up everywhere.

Even better when you got an open clutch cover eh.

    Got that today too.
When I fired it up, a guy said, 'you're motor sounds fucked, what's wrong with it.'

would have been towing a duke , never a yamaha lol, all real yamahas are 2 strokes and dont break down, on the other hand it might have been a solid draw bar and the duke was pushing the buell
